Team Martin Black Belt Academy was opened in May 2007 as a family-owned business. Chief Instructor Jenifer Davis has been training in Taekwondo for over 10 years. Team Martin teaches traditional Taekwondo. Team Martin strives to provide the best training to their students.
Team Martin Black Belt is part of IMAC: the International Martial Arts Council. IMAC brings together martial artists around the nation from all different styles of martial arts. IMAC was founded by Grandmaster Stan Witz. Grandmaster Witz frequently teaches at our school and also trains Team Martin’s competition team. Grandmaster Witz also hosts two of the largest world championship tournaments locally each year.

Team Martin teaches traditional Taekwondo.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
Chief instructor Jenifer Davis has been in martial arts for over 10 years. With her family, she opened Team Martin. Mrs. Davis originally trained in traditional Taekwondo, but has also trained in Ucho-do karate and mixed martial arts.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
We care about our students. Each student who comes in our school comes out learning more than martial arts. They learn essential lifeskills and become a more confident person. Our instructors work with each student to help them become the best martial artist and the best person they can become.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
We currently have one location.
Who owns your company or runs daily operations?
We are a family-owned and operated business. Mrs. Davis and Miss Martin are the main instructors. Several trainee coaches assist with teaching.
