Power Zone Community Center is a community service resource center located in Clark County that serves the needs of children, families, the economically disadvantaged and the elderly.
The Power Zone will work with individuals, community organizations, peer support groups, parents, teens and young adults. We assist and advocate such that youth and young adults have access to mainstream indicators of quality of life, such as; good health, decent housing, educational and vocational training of their choice, suitable employment, drug and alcohol prevention and cultural programs. We are directing our efforts and influence to meet the changing needs of this community; endeavoring to provide direct services to individuals and families, integrated with neighborhood organizing,
PURPOSE: Power Zone Community Center (PZCC) provides food and nutritional services to families and individuals; collaborate with social service agency to assist in providing affordable housing, nutrition reaches out to parents and youth to change their self-perceptions and enable them to make healthy life choices, develop personal empowerment skills, transform life situations and build a stronger community.
