NRA, Tactical Firearms and CCW Training/Certification
TopGun Academy (TGA) is an organization teaching under agreement at the Boulder Rifle and Pistol Club (BPRC). The TGA Chief Instructor, Dr. Gary L. FitzHugh, is an NRA Training Counselor credentialed in multiple firearms and will teach NRA Basic & Instructor courses including Personal Protection Inside and Outside the Home (PPIH/PPOH) and Defensive Pistol. In addition, TGA teaches advanced tactical rifle/pistol classes and concealed carry for both Nevada and Utah. Dr. FitzHugh is a retired Navy Special Operations combat veteran and has competed at the "All Navy" level in pistol, rifle, and shotgun matches. Was an active BRPC instructor for several years before branching out on his own. Also teaches hunter safety for the Nevada Department of Wildlife. NRA Certified Instructors looking to join a teaching team should contact Dr. FitzHugh at email provided above. Please include NRA credentials.
